Pelo 5º ano consecutivo, o top10 da revista Cahiers Du Cinéma conta com um filme português. Depois de Juventude Em Marcha (Pedro Costa, 2008), Singularidades De Uma Rapariga Loira (Manoel De Oliveira, 2009), Morrer Como Um Homem (João Pedro Rodrigues, 2010) e O Estranho Caso de Angélica (Manoel De Oliveira, 2011), é chegada a vez de Miguel Gomes, realizador de Tabu. O filme, que já havia estado em destaque na última edição do Festival De Berlim, onde ganhou 2 prémios, recebe assim mais uma distinção.
